If you’re a resident of the Macedon Ranges Shire Council, you may be eligible to receive 50% back (up to $100) on reusable products.

The Reusable Nappy, Sanitary and Incontinence Product Rebate Program is now open and runs until 30 April 2026 (or until funds are exhausted).

Now in its 4th year, the program supports local residents to access affordable reusable items, helping reduce long-term costs associated with waste disposal.

💰 How Much Can You Claim?

You can claim:

🍼 Reusable Cloth Nappy & Associated Products

50% of your purchase price (rebate capped at $100)

Eligible items include:

  • Reusable cloth nappies

  • Reusable swim nappies

  • Reusable cloth wipes

  • Reusable wet bags (for storage of used nappies)

  • Reusable nappy liners

  • Reusable nursing pads

  • Reusable nursing bras

🌸 Sanitary & Incontinence Products

Up to 50% of your purchase price (rebate capped at $100)

Eligible items include:

  • Reusable period underwear

  • Reusable period swimwear

  • Reusable cloth pads

  • Reusable menstrual cups

  • Reusable incontinence underwear

📝 How to Apply for the Rebate

To successfully claim your rebate, you must:

  • Be over 18 years old

  • Be a resident of Macedon Ranges Shire Council

  • Provide proof of residency (e.g. driver’s licence, rates notice, utility bill)

  • Supply a valid proof of purchase invoice

Your proof of purchase must include:

  • Your name

  • Business name and ABN

  • Date of purchase

  • Cost

  • Name of items purchased

If claiming multiple items, include all receipt files together.

  • One rebate per person

  • Maximum of two rebates per household

  • Items must be purchased between 1 May 2025 and 30 April 2026

  • Secondhand items are not eligible

  • No cash payments — approved rebates are deposited into your bank account

  • Funds are processed within 30 days once approved

  • Program closes Thursday 30 April 2026 (unless funds are exhausted sooner)
