MY BACKGROUND
I come from a diverse background of Chemistry, Marketing and Sales, so have always worked in highly stressful jobs.....so when my only daughter turned 12 months and it was time to go back to work in 2006, panic set in! She took a LONG time to make, so the thought of leaving her even on a part time basis shrouded me in misery.
One day I went to purchase some cloth nappies off Darlings Downunder and saw that it was for sale. I couldn't resist putting in an offer as we used cloth nappies already and were very keen to promote and advocate cloth in the community.
Well, luckily (?!) the business was mine in October 2006 and since then we have built the busines from about 6-8 boxes to a living/lounge room that we soon outgrew and now into a 4 car workshop/loft accommodation.
It has not been easy, working from home is a constant struggle to find time and find that balance between working and spending time with my daughter without the feeling of guilt if I have to spend an hour on the computer whilst she plays by herself. You do need your fluffy mail quickly, so I try to get it out as quick as I can!
I have a supportive team around me also- my husband foremost and my wonderful friend and helper Kristen....what would I do without them...?
Anyway- I am sure I have bored you all with the background......let's TALK NAPPIES!!!!!
