Which GroVia Soaker Pad: No Prep or Organic?

Added on 07 January 2017 in Darlings Downunder, GroVia

If you're a fan of the GroVia brand (or even if you're just researching their products) you may be aware that there have been several absorbent options to use with their All-in-2 Hybrid cloth nappy system over the years. It can be a bit confusing, so here's a summary of what's currently available.

Here's a quick comparison between the GroVia No Prep Soaker Pads and Organic Cotton Soaker Pads, GroVia Biosoakers and GroVia Bamboo Prefolds, all which can be used in the GroVia All-in-2 Hybrid Nappy Shell:

Here's a closer look:

No Prep Soaker Pad

A waterproof TPU backing‚ four layers of mircofibre topped with cozy micro fleece‚ and ultra soft fleece leg gussets.

Your choice if you're after an absorbent option with a stay dry layer to keep your baby dry. It is thicker/bulkier than the Organic Cotton Soaker Pad but doesn't take quite as long to dry. They are at full absorbency after washing once to remove any manufacturing residue.

Organic Cotton Soaker Pad

A waterproof TPU backing‚ five layers of certified organic cotton and soft cotton leg gussets.

If you prefer natural and organic fibres against your baby's skin, then this is the choice for you. It is trimmer than the No Prep Soaker Pad but needs to be washed on hot (60 degrees) 5 or 6 times before using to build up absorbency,

If you're still not sure which GroVia Soaker Pad will be the best for you, don't forget that with any of our GroVia Hybrid packages, you are welcome to request a mix of Organic and No Prep Soaker Pads as part of your package - you're not restricted to one or the other!
