What's different about the new EcoNaps 2.0 Nappy?

The new EcoNaps 2.0 Modern Cloth Nappy arrived in the shop last week, and we've had some people ask about the difference, because on the surface they look quite similar...

The biggest thing is that the EcoNaps range is now manufactured using PUL made from rPET Recycled polyester.

This means that the fabric used in the outer shell of the 2.0 nappy is produced from diverting single used plastics from landfill to give them a second life. In fact, the EcoNaps 2.0 nappy is certified plastic neutral by Plastics Bank, as each cloth nappy stops the equivalent of 5 plastic bottles from entering the ocean!

But there are also changes that you can see and feel.

  • The outer shell is not only recycled, but is super soft to the touch.
  • The fit has been slightly tweaked, with the middle and pocket openings just a little wider for easier stuffing.
  • The elastic is latex meaning it's now softer on baby's skin and stretchier to get the perfect fit.

But what about the inserts?

The thirsty absorbency that you love about EcoNaps remains, but with a new and improved silky soft OEKO-TEX Standard 100 bamboo fabric that is less inclined to curl, and the large insert is also a shorter (you've been asking for this!) to make it easier to stuff, but without compromising on absorbency.

Here's a side by side comparison (the original Convertible nappy is on the left, the 2.0 is on the right):

All in all, these are fantastic updates to this very popular nappy and we're sure you'll love them!
