New Release Designer Bums Nappy Giveaway!

Added on 16 January 2017 in Designer Bums, Giveaways & competitions, New arrivals

We're super excited that the brand new 'Art Pop' Designer Bums Modern Cloth Nappies are being released on Tuesday 17 January at 7pm! We have our stock here and IT'S ALL GORGEOUS!!!! You will love these exclusive artist designed prints in this fabulous Aussie nappy.

We're even more excited that we get to give one of these awesome nappies away in exchange for a review for our blog! [If you can't wait, you can grab one of these nappies here before they sell out!]

To decide who we'll be sending a brand new Designer Bums nappy to, we need to see an example of how you would review a cloth nappy, so...

To enter to win this nappy we'll need you to either write a short review of a nappy we currently stock, or (if you've never used a nappy we stock or don't have a baby to trial one on yet) leave a comment below describing your dream nappy.

**** THIS COMPETITION IS FINISHED: And the winner is:

  • Lori Pavic

We will be contacting you soon!

To review a nappy we stock:

  • Login to your account (or create one here if you don't have one)
  • Go to the product we stock you want to review
  • Click on the 'Add a review' tab
  • Write your review (honesty is a must)
  • Come back here and leave a comment below letting us know what product you reviewed

A couple of things if you end up being the winner:

  • Your review of the Designer Bums Cloth Nappy you win must be honest and fair - pros and cons
  • We will need photos of the nappy being demonstrated/used but privacy of the baby must be maintained
  • You can do a video review instead of a written review if you prefer.

Some conditions of entry:

  • Competition is only open to Australian residents who are over 18 years
  • Entry must be made between 16 to 20 January 2017
  • Winners will be chosen by Darlings Downunder based on their entry
  • Winner will be announced here 21 January 2017

Awesome prize! I'm still waiting on my squish to trial my nappies on, but I think my ideal nappy will be one that fits my baby well, that is easy to use (for the husband) and that is asthetically pleasing.

I have not used your nappies but as a grandmother supporting both a daughter and daughter in law in their cloth journey I am looking for nappies that provide comfort for the child, non leaking for mum and are super cute to boot. Not like the boring old terry squares I used over 25 years ago.

Posted by Sarah on 16 January 2017

I'm a FTM week 40+2 so hoping any day now I'll get my surprise and I'll be trying MCN then. My ideal diaper is one with no leaks, simple to use (so I like the idea of the AIO), snap locks, cute patterns that still fit under clothes, but most of all, that the husband will like and find easy since he and his family think it's strange I want to use MCN (my mum is the one that strongly suggest I go that route). Thanks!

My dream nappy is affordable, an excellent fit for my brand new girl, easy-to-use, available in a range of beautiful prints, and poosplosion-proof. At this stage of my cloth journey I would like to support small businesses that pay fair wages and sell quality products. Ideally, these nappies would be priced similarly to Baby Bares or Bambooties (we are dreaming, after all!). These nappies would fit babies of all shapes and sizes even as they grew. My new tiny human is only in the 3rd percentile of length and weight, so it would be great if the nappies fit her now and for as long as she needs them. Linked to excellent fit is absorbency and containment. The whole point of a nappy is to catch poo and wee, so my dream nappy needs to fulfil this primary purpose. So that I'm not the only one who can and will change them, it would be wonderful if the nappy were user-friendly enough for all caregivers. Finally, I am a sucker for pretty. It would make me feel a little happier to deal with the aforementioned poo and wee if the nappies were easy on the eye. Thanks for running the comp. :)

As a soon to be FTM, with a partner who is currently only half on board with using cloth, my dream nappy requires a variety of features for us to have successful long term cloth use! The nappy needs to be simple to put on, requiring minimal practice and skill as I'm sure we're going to be tired. It's going to take time to build up a stash on a single income so a nappy that can dry quickly and go back into rotation will limit our need for disposables and save us money for more cloth! Last it needs to have a low ick factor - easy to clean with minimal stains or leaking.

Posted by Anita Ettles on 16 January 2017

My dream nappy is easy to use, fast drying and provides a comfortable, no leak nappy that doesn't compromise style for usability. ?
