Pocket nappies are awesome - the absorbent insert can be separated from the waterproof shell for faster drying, they're easy to boost with extra absorbency, and once assembled are really easy for people who aren't family with modern cloth nappies to use, as everything is cleanly tucked away inside the nappy.

But, fairly regularly, I meet parents who have crossed the pocket nappy style off their list of potential options because it seems like getting those inserts inside the pocket might be a bit fiddly, and they don't want to have a mess around trying to get it all neat and tidy.

OK, the first time you stuff a pocket nappy is probably not going to look great, however, once you've done it a couple of times, you're all set. It really is very simple. Here's how to stuff a pocket nappy:
