Changes to our Postage & Delivery policies effective 20 June 2011

We have until recently been very satisfied with Australia Post’s delivery service. In a whole year no parcels went missing, though a couple did take a little longer that one might have expected to arrive. But on the whole no issues – except with the increase in charges every few months, which we have absorbed up till now.
 
However, in the last month we have had three parcels go missing and had more taking longer than expected to arrive. Each and every one of our customers is important and we want to know ALL orders, big and small will arrive safely. We know how expensive cloth nappies are and how distressing it is to order something online only to have it not turn up. As far as we are concerned, one missing parcel is unacceptable – let alone three. While we hope that this is merely an anomaly, we are not prepared to take risks with our customers’ orders. So we will be reviewing our postal options thoroughly over the next few months.
 
In the meantime, as of 9am Monday 20 June we will be registering EVERY regular parcel thereby making it trackable and more secure. Express Post parcels are already trackable.
 
Unfortunately, this extra service means we will have to increase our regular flat rate postage charge to $7.95. This is the absolutely minimum amount we can increase our charges by. We are still committed to keeping your postage as cheap as possible, but we hope that the extra dollar is not too much to pay for additional peace of mind.
 
The increase to Australia Post’s rate (the second this year) means that our flat rate for Express Post will increase by 45c to $9.95.

We hope you understand and appreciate our efforts to keep postage as reasonable as possible.
