My baby is 6 days old so I will have to say that I have only changed nappies on our change table so far.

Hmmm I don't tend to go to many unusual places without a car, so I guess the most unusual place is probably in the boot of our car in the car park of a chocolate factory because their toilets didn't have any changing facilities

At a crazy busy market, we had no choice but to swiftly change our bub on my husbands lap out of sight behind a stall!

Posted by Tamara on 08 December 2015

The most unusual place for us would be in the middle of a party!

Bub is only 7 weeks so not many adventurous places as yet, themost uncoordinated was getting dad to try change his nappy while he was breastfeeding so as not to rouse him too much. Not recommended!

Next to a creek whilst on a bushwalk. One of the benefits of living in the Blue Mountains!

We had a pooplosion that leaked badly in the middle of a church service. Thank goodness we were sitting at the very back. There was no way I would get out to the change room without spreading poo everywhere so I cleaned & changed bub right where we were. Only the other mums sitting in the back noticed & they were really cool about it.

In a park in Cape Town. After bub had her picnic lunch - she decided to do it!

At our wedding, during a breastfeeding break, complete with photographer knocking on the door wanting to take photos!

In the middle of the park at South Bank while watching a show. The toilet has no provision for a diaper change station so I decided to change her in the middle of the park ????

When my little girl was 9 months we went on a 4wd trip to central Australia and the back tray of the ute became our change table for 5 weeks.

We changed our bub on a friends boat on top of hubbys lap.

Probably the most unusual place would be on a toilet floor. That's also the least comfortable, especially with a wriggler! :/

I've had to pull over on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere a few times to do nappy changes when driving up to Carnarvon (from Perth) or down to Albany. I've also had to attempt a nappy change on the beach while camping, which was a challenge trying not to get sand in everything.

I'm due in 8 weeks so none of note other than those done whilst babysitting. The whole Napoleon changing adventure is ahead of me ;)

On a chair during a health class :) goodluck everyone..x

On the floor in the tea room at my work. I had gone in to organise my return to work, and there are no baby change facilities in the toilets!

Posted by Brooke on 08 December 2015

On the floor of an advertising office, and on another occasion, in the pram in the middle of a busy pub (it was the dead of winter & raining outside so couldn't strip bub down in the elements, and no room in the pub toilets!)

My 2 year old is so used to getting his bum changed in strange places he just says 'poopoo' now and drops to the ground bum in the air! Car boots, parks, and plenty times on the edge of the hockey field!

Poo explosions seem to haunt us at the worst times! Our worst was probably at a lunch, baby on my boob with a strong latch you don't want to mess with so hubby changed him while I continued to feed.. Awkward but thank goodness hubby and i stayed relatively mess free

I had to change my son's nappy in an airplane toilet that didn't have a change table! It was not a family-friendly airline! It was a challenge.

Posted by Christina on 10 December 2015

We've changed my 1 year old just about everywhere (car, plane seats, picnic tables, church pews etc) but the most exciting was probably in an academic conference, in session, behind the chairs at the back of the main venue! I didn't want to miss a moment of the talk.

Posted by Tim on 10 December 2015

In a lift! We foolishly thought we could get it done before anyone got on at the next floor - but the faster you try and change a nappy, the longer it takes!

Posted by Leela Joy on 10 December 2015

Hmmm...most unusual would probably be 40,000 feet in the air during our flights overseas....don't do that every day!

Posted by Eunice on 10 December 2015

Most unusual is on a dining table in a restaurant! Was overseas and bub did a poop but they do not have a change facility in the restroom so they allowed us to go to the closed section and change bub on the table

Posted by Stacey M on 11 December 2015

Our most unusual nappy change was waiting for Daddy to cross the finish line at the Noosa triathlon! With thousands of people around it was not possible to find the toilets and get back to the finish line in time, so we did a sneaky change in a friend's pram. Daddy crossed the finish line shortly after!
